Right at the beginning your inquiry arises: it is about to repair a punching tool or the manufacturing of a new one. This is normally accomplished by fax, email or post (mail). How many parts should be produced per hub, tool guidance as well as maximum force of a punching operation is defined according to your wishes. We derive the rough estimation of the costs incurred by the tool construction according to documentation. You receive a fax or email from us with the price offer, delivery date and the tool design (approximate feed and stripe width of the pre material ect.). Gladly, we also offer you finished punched parts. In this case we only specify proportional tool costs. Proportional costs mean that only production costs are accounted for. We therefore oblige ourselves to use this tool only for you. The proprietor of this service is the Hedrich company. You can also purchase the tool later at an extra charge as well as obtain all the constructional data from us.

 

Sketches and drawings
When ordering a new tool you provide us with a technical drawing of the required punching part per fax or already digitalised (for example as a dxf-file). During repairs we receive either the tool with defects or the pattern/technical drawing of the spare part. When dealing purely with tool orders we need specifications of the planned batch sizes, the time of punching operation and technical data of the press on which the tool will be used.

 

Manufacturing planning
First of all, a blueprint is generated with the help of software, and a tool is developed. According to this data we make a price offer for you.

 

Consulting and service
Based on your guidelines you are consulted such that later on you receive a price offer as well as a tool as cost-effective as possible. At critical points, as for example narrow tolerances or holes in relatively thick material, which are relatively complex or very difficult to realise, we suggest and help you to find appropriate alternatives.
